Great show at HOB Sunset Friday night.
The band did nice covers of Jeff Beck's 'Cause We've Ended As Lovers & Sophie along tunes from Jimmy's new album Lifeboat. ...Sophie (Sound is a bit distorted, from a 6/12 gig in Denver) Jimmy Herring - guitar Greg Osby - sax Jeff Sipe - drums Neil Fountain - bass Scott Kinsey - keys Invited guest (and another fine guitarist) Scott Henderson played a few songs with the band. Sitting there watching/listening to this group of excellent musicians play (all for the exhorbitant sum of $20), a thought flashed through my mind that some people pay 10 times that price (and more) to basically see glorified "mime" acts. The Music Bidness never ceases to amaze me. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...dID=182431 "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn.
