I watched Donnie Darko (FOR THE FIRST TIME!) yesterday, and this song was in there.
I also heard "The Killing Moon" by Echo & The Bunnymen, and "Love Will Tear Us Apart" by Joy Division. [Edited 6/21/09 7:50am]

That extended section is used in other ways on a few other tracks on the album. It's almost like an EP to itself. "Mother's Talk" is one of them. It's kind of the way Hall & Oates took a long intro to "Out Of Touch" and made it into the jam called "Dance On Your Knees" on the maxi single.

That's the jam. Great vocal, especially the way he ends up in falsetto after each verse. nWo: bboy87 - Timmy84 - LittleBlueCorvette - MuthaFunka - phunkdaddy - Christopher

Better late than never! "Head Over Heels" is perfect. I love SFTBC and I love TFF. "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis
