One of my ALL TIME favorite songs by anyone. I have literally ADORED this song since I was 5 years old. The lyric that cuts for me is:
"Oh I had a love,....A true love and I lost it. Now I'm suffereing all this pain that that love has cost me." Wonderful bassline, dead on lyrics, great vocals which was standard for Mr. Womack. This whole album is good. Another one that pulls at my hearstrings is "Harry Hippy".
