I like both versions to be honest with the both of ya.

I prefer the lushness and emotion of Bryan Ferry's version.
But I don't hate hers either.
But given the beat, you get more lyric than emotion.

Miami Vice used this song in my favorite episode of the show.

Bryan Ferry just sounds like he's given up all hope of NOT being a slave to love.
It's a sense of falling into the inevitable. . .

not so keen on his fox hunting support

but spanking mug for getting Marcus Miller on board.
