What I loved about CDNOW is they used 2 orginize their artists section so everyone can track their fave artists so easily(other credits-videos and etc etc etc etc) but Amazon is just a MESS.

Typically I just drive to Best Buy for new music so I don't actually do that much ordering from Amazon or CDNOW or anyone.

I noticed this the other day, they merged with Amazon and now its CRAP! Damn I hate this

I have noticed that Amazon not only had a better selection but a lot more details about hte albums (whenever they could) and much cheaper prices. Seems like a good move to me but I guess I know what you mean about how they arranged the artists, etc.

Yeah, I went to cdnow one day last week and when I tried to log in it said I wasn't registered...I thought "what the hell." But I totally agree, it's more confusing now. I damn near threw my computer out the window cuz I was getting so fustrated trying to figure things out. Everyone repeat after me "if it ain't broke don't fix it"

I knew something was different...and CRAPPIER. I thought I had deleted a bookmark or something. It used to be so good, not I can't find anything.

it sucks. even if you weren't buying anything at CDNOW (and i guess people weren't) you could at least do some halfway decent research there because it was pretty well organized.


but i wrote a short paper about CDNOW for a business mgmt class about 3 years ago. they were really struggling then. i'm suprised they didn't get swallowed up before now.
