Saw Etta James @ Pridefest in Milwaukee and... It was really sad, almost started tearing up...I was expecting Etta to walk out, but she came out in a wheelchair. I know Ms. James did drugs some years ago, but I didnt know she was in this bad of shape?? I didnt see the Beyonce movie so if someone could enlighten me please?? I'm in the mood for love...simply because your near me. | |

She's coming back next month I believe and I'ma go see her before it's too late. Wheelchair or not, I know she's more soulful than any of these youngstas out here.  | |

I'm sorry to hear that!  Etta James battled a heroin addiction but she bounced back and got her career back on track in the seventies.

Oops, forgot to add that Etta was still getting down in that Wheelchair, and her band was very good!! I saw Deborah Cox also!! I love me some Deborah Cox! I'm in the mood for love...simply because your near me. | |
