One of the hardest hitting new Funk jams ... blows my mind! I was about to start a thread on New Funk, but I decided that this cat deserves his own thread.
Kutiman is a new Funk artist from Israel, out of all places. A couple of years ago, he released No Groove where I came from on Melting Pot /Afro Kats Records, and it's one of my favorite new Funk jams. Especially the live performance simply blows my mind ...  [Edited 6/16/09 6:04am] | |

They are African-American, but of Hebrew belief. Most of the earlier stuff was recorded in Chicago, then they relocated to Africa (Nigeria, I think) and then they did some more recording in Israel. Kutiman, however, is from Israel. | |
