People's noses DO NOT get smaller w/ age Script. Honestly...where do you come up w/ this stuff? If anything, they get more prominent w/ age UNLESS you have surgical help.

I didn't say noses got smaller, I just said when you get older, sometimes people's features change. "Lack of home training crosses all boundaries."

Amazing, isn't it? Anyway, they were a group with some good songs. "This is for the Lover in You" is my favorite from them.

Don't get cute. You were responding to what I said about this size of his nose. I pointed out to you that people's noses DO NOT get smaller w/ age luv. In terms of proportions, unless you have "help" things rarely get smaller w/ time. It seems that some people still have problems w/ plastic surgery and celebs, esp Black ones. Earlier on this thread, you said something about a crack pipe having to do w/ the changes in his face. Get real girl...it's plastic surgery, but the only question is WHAT he had done.

"Don't Get Stopped in Beverly Hills" was from the Beverly Hills Cop soundtrack. They got that wrong too. Sure did. I forgot about that. I looked on the Grammy site, the soundtrack won a Grammy, but their song didn't. The site lists Howard as a Grammy winner along with all of the other songwriters for that soundtrack. Awww ok, so that's where Unsung got that info. It's still a bit misleading.

It wasn't until after she did "Intimacy" that things started to fall apart for them. ----- Jody did an interview with Afronerd recently and she refused to even discuss Andre. So I take it there is bad blood. To say the least. Not only did he want ot keep the marriage a secret, but he was also cheating on her. She wrote a little "vague", yet implied paragraph about the break up of their marriage in the booklet for the Affection cd. [Edited 6/22/09 20:15pm]

So many have asked my thoughts, I will be writing a blog. So much was left out of Unsung: Shalamar actually. It was a disappointment in some ways.
I recognize though that in 45 minutes (less commercials) it was impossible to really be comprehensive. I hope to share some of my thoughts which were left on the cutting room floor through my own unedited and uncut words. In the meantine, "moved on" does not mean animosity or a lack of forgiveness - quite the contrary .... 'moved on' represents peace. It's easy to move on when you have made peace..... I've done that. What is all this disrespect for Andre Cymone ? ! Andre was aknowledged in the music biz and respected as an artitst in his own right. Twisting proven & published facts to biased opinions is highly subjective and superficial.

Oh yeah... that's been the rumor. Who knows. I thought Ms. Watley response was a bit cryptic when speaking of her pregnancy but maybe she was speaking of the fact(s) that there was pressure for her to abort the pregnancy.

Shango what year did this article come out? 1993 or so? It would seem mid 1990s, but that's just a guess.
daPrettyman yup, that's the conventional wisdom about the matter, but who really knows?

Yeah, I caught the part about the pressure to abort the pregnancy. However, I thought that may have been from the record company. That theory would make sense, especially if Sylvers fathered the child. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-
