I'd been sitting on the 3 eps shown so far, just watched Shalamar... the FUNNIEST shit was knowing Howard had just joined the group a few days prior to lip-syncing "Take That To The Bank" on the Dinah Shore Show I'd never tripped that the voice sounded NOTHING like Howard, I just accepted that it was Shalamar & kept it movin. But I was too young to pay attention to mumblings of drama/replacements then. I know the mf who left felt HELLA DUMB for hella years after

Jody's attitude about the group doesn't bother me AT ALL. We weren't there, we don't know what she really went through & they only touched on surface issues. Her bad feelings are valid to her & that's all that matters. & the "have an abortion" thing is very real & very hurtful, & that's just ONE thing she revealed! For anyone to think she should simply "get over it" is weird...

Never knew Suge was related to dude @ Solar... can't believe the number of facts they got wrong... I think Jeffrey's speech is altered just from being influenced by the language in Japan. I think everyone has aged fine - Jeffrey looks pretty much the same to me, Howard is chunky, Jody looks a little tired but not "bad". So trippy the way the group was formed! That's truly some "right place, right time" shit!

Good ep, though I wish they'd gone deeper. I didn't know Jeffrey choreographed for Michael, & I was hoping to hear more about Howard's solo career - didn't he eventually go in a gospel direction?

Those 5 lil 2 minute clips on TV One's YouTube channel are NOT cutting it. Half the stuff CalhounSq mentioned ain't even in there.
