Don't know what Gene thinks of P as a bass player, probably thinks he's talented. I say that based off of what Gene has stated publicly in the past of Prince. He is a fan of Prince. He and Paul Stanley both attended a show during the Dirty Mind tour in New York. As well as a show at The Forum in Los Angeles during the Purple Rain tour. For what's it's worth, Gene's bass playing pales in comparison to Prince's. Granted Gene is a rock bass player, it's like comparing apples to oranges in some respects. | |

He's probably jealous because Prince can make a guitar talk. Plus he has prettier hair than Gene.  I love a Man who:

Gene is a clown, and is irrelevant in music today. His heyday is over. He's a reality star just like Ozzy was (so much for being original). KISS is the top Gold record selling group, but that really means most of their stuff as sold somewhere between 500,000 and under a million (although some have went platinum of course). | |

How in the HELL is Prince irrelevant in music today? Prince is one of the those performers who have survived and have lasted to have a career that spans decades rather than months like most of today's pop nuggets. Prince is an intuitive, intelligent, talented man who really does express his heart and soul--and at times loins--through his music, And he must be doing something right if you've logged in to his fan (or fam) page to post a comment. I love a Man who:
