As a teen I had plenty of class mates and friends who were doing all kinds of stupid things. Making sure their thongs where visible, slept with guys they didn't like, started silly fights and so on. My best friend at that time was kind of like that, but when we were alone she was completely different and I could just see how insecure she really was. Unfortunately she just didn't know how to really handle her issues and knew the wrong kinds of people.

I think she's very normal in her behaviour compared to what's going on now, but things have certainly changed since I was in high school. I wished there were "sluts" like her around my area when I was 17 (in '99) because maybe my dating life wouldn't be as miserable as it is now.
All the girls I knew back then were either squeaky-clean goodie-two-shoes and/or extreme feminists. I certainly didn't know any girls who were easy enough to do it with geeks like me.  | |
