This is really bad for Letoya and I hope now that this news is out that BET don't give in to his demands because Letoya is an amazing talent who deserves a chance to shine. I dont see a sadness in Beyonce's eyes at all, it looks more like a blank-vacant stare. I also dont feel sorry for her like she's some puppet pimped by her daddy. I mean, this woman is almost 30 years old now, she's old enough to make her own decisions and do whatever she wants. The fact that she continues to push herself and work nonstop tells me that she shares at least some of Matthew's drive if not alot of it. Remember she herself said she wants to be an icon, and she and Matthew have been doing everything in their power to get her to iconic status.
I just wonder if Beyonce is aware of her daddy's tactics, and if she knows about some of the things he's done like this incident with getting Letoya booted off of the BET awards and pushing other artist's projects aside so Beyonce's project goes first, stealing other songwriter's songs, etc. or if she's ignorant of his dealings--much like her character Deena Jones in Dreamgirls didnt know of Curtis's shady ways of promoting her. To tell the truth those other girls in the group NEVER had a chance to shine. LeToya needs to perform well because I like some of her music. Beyonce don't need the spotlight all the time. As for getting a life: thanks for the advice, but I'm already halfway through my workday and will be leaving my office shortly to take a sauna break; I will concentrate on getting that life after my steam bath, thank you. Listen, I'm very well aware that this is an org board, and generally speaking we're all just here to crack a few jokes and pass the time... But since you pointed out that we're also here to state our beliefs, let the record show that I am stating my belief that you've shown yourself in the past to make outlandish, slanderous comments about people without source nor indication of proof whatsoever. Let me also point out that in contrast, I, for whatever assertion I make about anyone on this board or in real life, do not do so unless I have witnessed or experienced it first hand, or I do not do so unless I am (not more than) one degree of separation from the person or incident in question by a knowledgable, experienced, and trusted confidant... I certainly don't try to deliver potentially hurtful information about people that I cannot back up legally if I was ever called to task for it. Furthermore if I'm ever in doubt about whether or not I can prove something, then I simply keep my trap shut. Can you say the same for yourself? Actually...you don't even need answer that. Because the fact of the matter is that I am no longer interested in anything you have to say to me, period. So, newsflash: You and I? Henceforth: DONE. .
