I never thought I'd see the day when someone says Chili looks like a man.  Yeah, what the hell is up with that? Nobody cared about her look when she was just dating Usher but since she married him and had his babies there have been all this talk about how old she is and how bad she looks. I also find that when people say a certain chick "looks like a man" it's always aimed at either an older woman like 35+ or a dark skinned black woman. Yeah I said it! I'm sick of this "she look like a man " shit. Unless a woman is donning a mustache sans makeup or is bald then why would she look like a man? I mean I could maybe see it if she had a really HARD face but I don't think she does. What are women supposed to look like? Maybe its because she's not wearing 10 pounds of weave and makeup? that would make her look manly because it would be overkill and take away from her feminine beauty. Folk are hard on this woman who is a mother and was a wife. I think folks would have been more satisfied had she been some near white looking shank fresh off the pole. SAD!  I've seen it aimed at White chicks too, but they always have strong ethnic features. It seems that looking strongly non Anglo Saxon makes you manly!

That's a damn shame, esp. if they actually felt they had to come out and discuss it. Funny thing is, most Black male celebs AREN'T married to women like this, but that's who's focused on. Most of the male celebs I can think of are w/ women at or close to their own color, so I find it bizarre that her color (may) seem such a shock to people, esp. considering he was w/ Chili for so long. | |

I'll get some huh's from this but I didn't get all the hate on Tameka's looks. She's not a skinny ass hollywood type model but she doesn't look as horrible like so many people make it out to be. And then a lot jumped the bandwagon. All people have their good and bad days.
I think a lot of people are way too hard on people that don't look like a photoshopped person. It's so easy sitting on a forum, judging, but then, what about your own self. And trust people that don't feel attacked by what I said I ain't talking about you. | |

I have always thought Tameka has somewhat masculine looks, but I guess that's (at least partly) because of her strong jawline. There are plenty of women of all colors that have manly features. I still thought it was cool that Usher didn't go for the perfect Hollywood kind of beauty. | |

Usher: He and wife living apart for nearly a year
ATLANTA — Usher Raymond says he and his wife were separated for nearly a year before the R&B singer filed for divorce, calling the marriage "irretrievably broken," according to court records. The divorce petition, initiated by Usher, says the couple has lived separately since July. The two were married in a glitzy ceremony in August 2007, but split nearly a year later. The petition was filed Friday in Fulton County Superior Court. The Raymonds have two young sons: 1 1/2-year-old Usher Raymond V and 6-month-old Naviyd Ely Raymond. Tameka Raymond has three children from a previous marriage. The petition says there is "no reasonable hope of reconciliation" between Usher, 30, and Tameka Raymond, 38. Usher is seeking joint custody of the children. Tameka Raymond is contesting the divorce and has 30 days to respond to the petition. She said through her divorce attorney that she has been a "faithful wife and loving mother" during the marriage. The couple is due in court on July 15. About 200 people attended their wedding at resort built in the style of a 16th-century-style French chateau on 3,500 hilly acres outside Atlanta. In a May 2008 interview with The Associated Press, Usher addressed negative feedback from bloggers over his relationship with his wife, who's eight years older than he and was once his stylist.
