This is the same guy who cheated on Chili, wrote a song about it (a whole album actually), and then tried to deny that that album was based on reality. Usher, AKA Curious George, has a history of being a cheating dickwad, so I'm not surprised this is happening one bit. This divorce was only a matter of time, but it was going to happen at some point. The only sad part about this whole thing is that there are two little boys who unfortunately have two fucktards for parents. People really should be forced to take some type of a test before they are allowed to breed.

Okay, first off, I've been calling him Curious George since like 1997, so it's not a new comparison. In fact, I've referred to him with this pet name on several topics on this forum over the years, because that's who he looks like to me...Curious George with a six pack. I'm not the only one who sees it either, because if you go to google and type in 'usher and curious george', there are several others who feel the same way about Mr. Raymond.

I compared him to a cute, cartoon character who just happens to be a monkey, so what's this racist bullshit all about? Anyone with the ability to see would notice that they look similar to each other; race doesn't have a damn thing to do with it.

The thought that Usher is a black man never even popped into my mind when I started calling him Curious George more than 10 years ago, so maybe I'm not the one who's being the racist here.

I really hope that you throw that 'racist' nonsense at all those individuals who think that Jay-Z looks like a damn camel. That's way more offensive than the Curious George comparison...even though it's not far from the truth.

Maybe you should show a little more tact and respect before you start throwing around that ugly title, especially if you don't know a person, because my skin color is the same as his, sweetheart, so I have no reason to insult his race because then I would be insulting myself. I might get eggs in my face for this one, but if these divorce rumors are true, she probably had it coming. Do you expect good karma for leaving your first husband and kids for Usher? Also, it's a bad sign when his family and friends doesn't like you, especially the mother. Somethings wrong, somewhere. This doesn't only apply to her, but to anyone who does this.

It looks like pop star Usher Raymond IV is having it his way.

The Grammy-winning R&B star and Atlanta resident filed for divorce from Tameka Foster, his wife of less than two years. The petition was filed late Friday afternoon in Fulton County Superior Court, according to court records.

A hearing has been set for July 15 in front of Judge Bensonetta Tipton Lane.

Rumors had been circulating since May that the two had split, and there have been reports that they have been separated for almost a year.

Raymond, 30, and Foster, his former stylist who is eight years older, were married in a private ceremony in the summer of 2007.

Major buzz was made about the marriage after it was reported that his mother, Jonetta Patton, didn’t approve of Foster. Not long after announcing the engagement in March 2007, Usher fired his then-manager mom.

In June, the couple announced they were expecting their first child, and a wedding was to be held in July at Island Def Jam Chairman Antonio “L.A.” Reid’s home in the Hamptons.

But the ceremony was called off the day it was to take place, and publicist Patti Webster released the news in a written statement to The Associated Press. Usher insisted the couple would make it down the aisle.

“As of right now we don’t have a date but we will let you know when we do,” the singer told USmagazine.com. “Everybody’s fine. Tameka and the baby are fine.”

By the first week of August 2007, Usher announced the couple were married.

Weeks later, a ceremony was reportedly held at Chateau Elan in Braselton.

The couple has two sons together, 1 1/2-year-old Usher Raymond V and 6-month-old Naviyd Ely Raymond. Foster also has three children from a previous marriage.

Usher has spent half of his life making music, and his hits include “Confessions,” “Burn,” “You Make Me Wanna” and “Yeah!”

His first solo album was released in 1994, before he had his driver’s license.

Usher credits his mom with signing him for the talent show that led to his break.

In addition to his music, Usher lately has become quite the philanthropist.

In May, Usher was among six new members of the Woodruff Arts Center board of trustees. He is the only entertainer on the 79-member board. He was also inducted in the Boys & Girls Clubs Alumni Hall of Fame.

And in February, Usher testified before the House Education and Labor Committee about his Atlanta-based New Look Foundation for youths. The foundation helps teach young people about the entertainment and sports industries.

In January, the Inman Park franchise of the Grape that Usher opened to widespread publicity in late 2006 closed. The shop was a wine bar, bistro and wine retailer rolled into one.

Usher's wife 'faithful and loving' during marriage
ATLANTA — A lawyer who's opposed rapper T.I. and boxer Evander Holyfield in child-support cases is representing R&B singer Usher's wife in their split.

Usher filed for divorce on Friday from Tameka Foster Raymond after less than two years of marriage. The singer whose real name is Usher Raymond IV has two sons with Foster Raymond.

Sports and entertainment family lawyer Randy Kessler said Monday his 38-year-old was a "faithful wife and loving mother." He declined to comment on the singer's conduct during the marriage.

The singer wed his former stylist in a glitzy ceremony in August 2007.

Kessler also represented rapper Mack 10 in his divorce from R&B singer T-Boz of TLC.
