Man, FUCK "Hate U" mad

"Hate U" is just pretzels,,,,,I want the meat & potato that ONLY Big Jim Wright could provide, since there's no chance of her hooking up with Walter Afanasieff anymore.

Aw hell sigh

She needs someone like a Walter in her "music" world again, till then it will be more of the same, there is no difference here, this album should be called "immaturity", Mariah has that down at this point....

Honestly i got through this song once and on the second listen couldnt, i skipped over to some GREAT new songs like "Que Locura" by Lisa Lisa and "In my Heart" by Stefani Vara, very simple un-produced live instruments and new production songs, not the same old same old. God when did everyone become so happy being just like everyone else??? Oh well back to the new a-Ha for the 58th listen.

You guys should know better by now to NOT expect anything mature. It's Mariah we're talking about, gawd.

I listened to this a couple of times, and while on the surface it appears to be better than most of the tracks on E-MC2, that's not saying much. confused She's approaching 40, yet she's still trying to hit that teen pop and hip hop crowd when she needs to be showing some more vocal maturity. What's sort of sad is that Christina Aguilera showed more maturity than Mariah last fall when she performed that Porgy and Bess song on the Grammy nomination special.

I think mariah was more mature when she started eek , obviously , the more she is getting old, the more she is getting silly and immature lol , Its a hard Equation eek , But I still like her regardless, I don't like the new single, I think its an overproduced mess, so loud and horribly arranged, No actual vocals.

You right....I havent wanted to listen to "Its Like That" or Migrate" at all and I dont care if I never hear We Belong 2Gether again..it was a good song at the time but it sounds dated now and it went fast.

Harlepolis is right...Jim Wright better pack the punch on this lp. I heard all of Electrik Red's album and the best stuff on it was the back to the 80's sounds they had which I hope they did some of on this one. I doubt it though.

Well that's the year she first started doing demo recordings and plus that must have been her favorite year. I remembered Mariah covering "If Only You Knew" as a tribute to Patti during an awards show, lol. She did that and "Over the Rainbow".

Wel all i really care about is if she can make a "sexy" video, she has to be the only women that can have all the "goods" and still never (maybe once) never be able to pull off sexy in a video, she tends to just be a goof ball and be a total letdown. Ironically "touch my body" could have been sexy, and yet was a comedy parody (hmm sounds like all eminems videos??), she needs to get a director that no one has heard of, that cares nothing about her. Brett Ratner was a total waste.

As corny as it is, that song is a monster and gonna be tough to cover. I remember her "against all odds" cover, and it was terrible compared to Phils, but hey, maybe this will be better?

i thought she KINDA pulled off sexy in "Honey." she didn't seem like she was trying soooo hard like in other videos that came later, "Heartbreaker Remix"...and OMG "LOVERBOY!!!!" god that video was laughable and embarrassing.

I'm not digging this "Obsessed" at all. Here's hoping she includes some traditional R&B performances on the CD like she did with "Mimi", ones where she is singing out loud and clear. None of that whispering mess. If Mariah doesn't come through with this one and it doesn't sell, I think her singing career will be back in limbo.
