Music you recently purchased

I just ordered a couple of remasters.
Marvin Gaye's Midnight Love and The Temptations The Tempting
Temptations. I never realized how good Midnight Love was
back in the 80's. I would only listen to my uncle's album
casually. I had to get the Tempting Temptations Cd because i
recently got the vinyl copy from my mom's house last weekend
and the album is great but the vinyl has a lot of scratches and
hisses and pops but i guess you could expect that from a 1965
album that my parents probably played the hell out of.
Their harmonies on this album are excellent. I also purchased
a used copy of Zhane's debut cd with this order.
I am going to get Teena Marie on Tuesday.
Don't laugh at my funk
This funk is a serious joint

Okay, I've never heard the 2300 Jackson street. Is it any good?

As big of a Janet fan as I am (I'd go str8 for her for a night or three), I only recently grabbed her first two albums online. It's pure bubble gum pop bliss. Love it.

"Eaten Alive". Don't know about the album, but that title track is the shiz!

Love the Good Question CD. Ditto for W&L's first.

The version of "Change The World" on Babyface's Unplugged is R&B/Pop/Gospel perfection. LOVE it. Reminds me of stuff Maxwell as doing around the same time or after.

I haven't listened to 2300 Jackson St. or Eaten Alive yet, so the jury is still out on those two. I am listening to Janet right now and I'm digging it. Dream Street is my shit too. (Especially Two to the Power of Love, Fast Girls and You Don't Stand Another Chance).

I have Wendy and Lisa on tape... somewhere and the Good Question was purchased stricly for historical Paisley Park purposes only biggrin. I also picked up Dale Bozzio's Paisley Park album a few months ago.

The version of "Change the World" is cool, but there is a better live version of it on "Babyface: A Collection of his Greatest Hits."

Oh,and the only CD's I got were Babyface and Prince, the rest is all vinyl.

G.Q.'s single was pretty popular. I saw the video in rotation a lot. I've not heard anything of Dale's album. I need to update my list of things to keep an eye out for. Never know what I might run across.

I bought some Iron Maiden 2CD Greatest Hits set for hella cheap, and before that I think it was some rock comp at Fred Meyers that was going for like 97 cents new

Oh, and I also got Die Warzau's first vinyl "I've Got To make Sense" on ebay for only $3.25, can't believe I got it so cheap

Plan on picking up the latest Crystal Method CD next check

Her debut is one of my favorites of hers. I listen to it more than listen to The Velvet Rope, All For You, Damita Jo, 20YO, and Discipline lol
