I'm not a big fan of super groups, primarily because they rarely ever approach the sum total of their astonishing parts.
But this does sound intriguing.

I don't think it will have that "super group" sound..
I think paul and bob will do a few tracks together.. and Ringo will be on drums. i'm hoping it will be that way.. at least

Maybe Jeff Lynne could produce the tracks. [Edited 6/8/09 19:36pm]

Well, the Rpckestra tracks from Paul's Back To The Egg album have probably the best line up of everything he ever did, but the tracks are crap.
Not a fan of Zimmerman, but I'm glad Paul is working that much. From 1989 til 2005 he only released new albums every 4 years. Since 2003 he works faster coz Memory Almost Full was recorded beck then, and in 2008 came the Electric Arguments.

Sounds like he's just taking George Harrison's spot in a toned-down version of The Traveling Wilburys.

Let's hope that Paul does most (all) of the singing.

This is exactly what crossed my mind when I read it. I loved the Wilburys, so I'm curious about what'll come of this.

Excellent news!
I'm sure Bob will provide them with some great lyrics and passionate renditions of the songs.

I'd like for Dylan to do the lead, but Paul to provide some smoothness to it. I just don't hear much depth in Paul's singing anymore. But Dylan could use a bit of Paul's sheen. It's an interesting combination. Two opposite extremes of 60's rock. One rough & raw, one smooth & easy. I think it may be too late for anything remarkable, but still it's unexpected. My Legacy
