I woke up with this on my mind, this weekend. I like AWB's version...

Yeah, his vocals are strong and powerful here.I like how he "attacks" these lyrics, especially on the second verse.

This is a good song, I have it on my 'Wake Up' playlist.

Early In The Morning - Gap Band
Work To Do - The Isley Brothers
and 'Sex Machine' - James Brown
Lady Cab Driver is one of the greatest songs ever!

cool Love hearing the six and twelve string guitars in this song; the Isely's should have seriously thought about doing an acoustic album.

Yes, I really don't care for the Isley's too much. There is just something about them that I don't like.

I know a few people that feel that way. They tend to only like some of their songs.

Personally, I love them. I don't think they get the recognition they deserve in paving the way in r&b music. Especially with their 70s work. By the time the 80s came along, they became the creativity went away and it was all about the money. Not saying that they put out bad work, because I like a lot of their 80s stuff, but it doesn't compare to their 70s output.

Don't even get me started on the 90s and 00s work. A lot of that stuff is total crap.

Technically, the Brother Brother Brother could be a great acoustic album. I love almost every track on the album.

Yeah,I think 'Go For Your Guns' is their best album.Unfortunately,it's the only album of theirs (from the 70s) that hasn't been remastered yet mad

Yeah, it is. That's bad, but at least the album was half-way mastered decently for cd originally.
