It was probably part of its re-releases. Maybe the video version of "Weak" was part of the re-release. I think the video version became the hit.

It was re-issued with "Right Here/Human Nature" after it became a hit. This is the original track list:

Track listing
1. Anything
2. I'm So Into You
3. Right Here
4. Weak
5. You're Always on My Mind
6. Downtown
7. Coming Home
8. Give It to Me
9. Blak Pudd'n
10. It's About Time
11. Think You're Gonna Like It
12. That's What I Need
13. SWV (In the House)
14. Weak (A Cappella)
15. Right Here - (vibe mix)

Here is the reissue:
1. Anything Listen
2. I'm So into You Listen
3. Right Here Listen
4. Weak Listen
5. You're Always on My Mind Listen
6. Downtown Listen
7. Coming Home Listen
8. Give It to Me Listen
9. Blak Pudd'n Listen
10. It's About Time Listen
11. Think You're Gonna Like It Listen
12. That's What I Need Listen
13. SWV (In the House) Listen
14. Weak (A Capella) [Acappella]
15. Right Here [Human Nature Remix] Listen

Interesting, thanks.

Yeah, that's what I meant by "slightly different" versions. The R&B mix on that CD on eBay is more different -- it's the last one I posted.

I thought it was the "R&B Mix" used in the video nuts

No, the version used in the video is called the Radio Edit.

FWIW, I had forgotten how much better it is than the original. I actually tracked it down (lurking) after reading this thread. music

A lot of compilations that have this track always play the album version.

Tom Joyner was trashing SWV when they first came out on the radio! They turned out to be jamming with nice songs. It was different because they were all chocolate beautiful sista's and not light bright and damn near white. Yeah I said it, it's my opinion, now let the bashing begin.flipped off They are another group that got ripped off VERY badly!

Taj and Eddie George show "I married a baller", was pretty good too.

Wouldn't you have dissed them in the beginning when you heard the original version of "Right Here". That version was horrible.

I remember when Tom used to diss everyone on K-104 back in the day (before he went national). To be fair, he was an equal opportunity disser. He dissed damn-near everyone but Prince. After he went national, he kissed all celebs asses. He wanted them on his show.

Hey I liked the original version of "Right Here"...LOL! I been trying to find it and can't. It sounds kinda cheesy, but it was cool. shrug
The message you are about to hear are not meant for transmission. Should ONLY be accessed in the privacy of your mind. Words are so intense so if you dare to listen.Take off your clothes and meet me between the lines. wildsign

This was one of my favorites from SWV...
A stupid man’s report of what a clever man says can never be accurate, because he unconciously translates what he hears into something he can understand.
