Their other tune on "New Beginning" was really good, too. "When This Feeling." It's like elevator music with a hip-hop beat.

if I knew how much r&b was going to go downhill this decade in comparison to the 90's, I wouldn't have given away New Beginning. I only liked the first half of the album, it had too many slow numbers and wasn't fun as a whole album, that goes for most 90's albums on which I expected uptempo dance tracks.

I relistened to some of new beginning online and appreciated the vocals on the slow tracks

"Use Your Heart" is by far my fave SWV song music. So calming and relaxing. I think the Neptunes wrote or produced this, right? Anyway I love the ladies harmonies on this one. Loved Coko's voice as always and It was especially nice to hear Taj sing on lead for once.

Tom Joyner was trashing SWV when they first came out on the radio! They turned out to be jamming with nice songs. It was different because they were all chocolate beautiful sista's and not light bright and damn near white. Yeah I said it, it's my opinion, now let the bashing begin.flipped off They are another group that got ripped off VERY badly!

Taj and Eddie George show "I married a baller", was pretty good too.

Wouldn't you have dissed them in the beginning when you heard the original version of "Right Here". That version was horrible.

I remember when Tom used to diss everyone on K-104 back in the day (before he went national). To be fair, he was an equal opportunity disser. He dissed damn-near everyone but Prince. After he went national, he kissed all celebs asses. He wanted them on his show.

He's an ASS but yeah the initial version of "Right Here" was indeed horrid. Thank GOD for "I'm So Into You"! falloff And the MJ remix version of "Right Here".

I remember being mad at the version of "Right Here" that was on the album because I wanted that MJ one. I ended up getting the CD maxi single for the remix. See, these sort of games you can't play with music buyers today.

The album version of "Weak" was pretty wack too. The single version, which was sooooo hard for me to finally track down, is way better.

But my cousin had the album, and I'm so sure right here/human nature was tacked in at the end, maybe she had a limited edition?

It was probably part of its re-releases. Maybe the video version of "Weak" was part of the re-release. I think the video version became the hit.

Yea. The vocals were re-done and I feel like the beat was a little tighter....like less reverb or something. I don't have the album version on my computer anymore so I can't really compare the 2. I remember Jewel did that shit with "You Were Meant For Me" and "Foolish Game." Used to piss me off!

The album version was used for the video (although I think there are a few slightly different mixes used for the video, which features Garfield Bright of Shai as a special guest BTW):

Yea on first listen they might sound the same but they're definitely not. Watch the video and compare that with the one I posted. The vocals different and the beat is too. The album version is definitely NOT the video version.

Yeah I know there's different versions, I just have to be sure which one was released. So lemme get this straight, the one with the reverbs is the album version and the one with less reverbs is the single version?

Yea the one I posted with all the reverb is the album version. It's missing some backups and the lead vocal is different too. The first one that Alexa posted is the single version which is both the video version and the one they played on the radio but was NOT on the album. I think it only got released on a DJ promo cd and cassette single.

Yeah, that's what I meant by "slightly different" versions. The R&B mix on that CD on eBay is more different -- it's the last one I posted.
