Looking for other songs/artists that sound like these Chicago tunes... Like the thread topic says, i'm looking for more of the same. These are four of my favorite songs by this band. I love to "organic" sound (can't think of another way to describe it) and the tempos of Make Me Smile and 25 Or 6 To 4. Any other suggestions? • Did you first think Prince was gay? •

No other group (from that era), that incorporated a horn section, seemed to have the consistent Pop component that Chicago maintained over the years. This is probably directly attributable to their vocals & song writing.
Anyway, another band you might like are Bay Area contemporaries of Tower of Power, Cold Blood featuring vocalist Lydia Pense. ...Shop Talk ...Down To The Bone ...Valdez in the Country A more contemporary group, Lettuce.
