Jennifer Hudson has baby shower Rumors that Jennifer Hudson is pregnant were fueled this weekend when family and friends of the former “American Idol” contestant attended a baby shower on her behalf, the Chicago Tribune reported.
“It was a baby shower, a quiet gathering of friends and mostly family” at a relative’s home in Chcago, singer-actress Felicia Fields, a longtime friend, told the Tribune. “They’re really trying to keep it kind of quiet.” Hudson, a Chicago native who won an Academy Award for her performance in “Dreamgirls,” is engaged to former reality TV star David Otunga, who is trying to start a professional wrestling career. The good news comes less than a year after Hudson’s mother, brother and nephew were found murdered in October in Chicago. William Balfour, the estranged husband of Hudson’s sister, Julia, has been charged with the crimes. Hudson appeared at Atlanta’s Fox Theatre in April | |

Yay! I'm glad that she can now focus on bringing a life into this world along with marrying the man she loves. Lots of more joy to come for her and yet also sadness because her mother isn't there  | |

It's strange that she is not bringing her pregnancy to the forefront! Why hide something like that considering the terrible incidents that happened with her family. This new baby should have been bubbling happy news to share with the public and fans. I hope she's not hiding it for a reason.  The message you are about to hear are not meant for transmission. Why should she bring it to the forefront??? Everyone doesn't want to live their life FOR the public. The public is not entitled to her private life if she doesn't want to share it. Maybe after her public loss she wants to keep her family life private. I applaud her for that cuz I'm sick and tired of hearing every detail of some celebs' pregnancy. What if the engagement is called off or they stop speaking to each other? People need to start getting married first then have kids. | |
