The Love album is viewed by fans and worldwwide media as The Cult's pre-eminent release. A few years back, I started listening to the Cult for the first time and got into them to an extent, but the live DVD "Music Without Fear" put me off ever spending good money on seeing them live. Duffy comes across as very dull on the DVD but Astbury is even worse - he murders most of the huge choruses from their best known songs. Disappointing stuff, I felt. This is not an exit | |

I don't recall their last album being "critically acclaimed" either - quite the opposite!

I didnt like that dvd much either. Ive seen them live since and its nothing like the dvd performances lol. Anyways its just info for those who may be fans. | |
