Good song, good vibe to it, one of Lionel's best post Commodore works. IMO.
Lady Cab Driver is one of the greatest songs ever!

It's one of his few songs I can stomach.

When I saw the title to this thread, I literally said, "OH FUCK YEAH!" out loud. I JUST ripped a bunch of Lionel vids the other day from a DVD to my AppleTV. This was one of them. That was such a great damn album. I still listen to it about once a month. I just get lost in the variety and diversity of it. Country, to African, to pop, to soul, to funk, to everything else. Thanks for the June reminder! haha

This song is okay.I always considered it to be a "cousin" of the much better song "Love Will Find A Way" from Can't Slow Down.

I think this is the best song on a very weak album.

Yep, most of the songs on the Dancing on the Ceiling album were re-treads of the formula used on Can't Slow Down.

Love Will Find A Way is one of my top ten songs biggrin

nod "Love Will Find A Way" is quite possibly,my favorite Lionel Richie solo song. It's the most soulfully rich song on 'Can't Slow Down'.

...and it's so pure and stripped down too. If only Michael Jackson would record the same way....oh...we've had this conversation hundreds of times before. wink

This is a very good slow jam. Well paced. Quiet storm meets pop AC. Beats the hell out of a lot of his bigger hits (for example the title track of the album this appeared on).

This is my shit! One of my absolute favorite songs. It has a soulful touch that many of Lionel's post-Commodores songs are missing. It really sounds like he is singing from the heart.
