Surely I am not alone thinking this has PR set all over it. Both have albums and movies to promote and it was after Em had performed his set so it gave more talk to both guys and the awards.

The giveaway is if this was such an accident, how did the director know to cut away to Em before the fall?

Also how come when storming off no one from MTV was rushing to calm him down etc.

The guys pulled it off and are probably laughing their asses off all the way to the bank.
