I heard about that too but hadn't heard the film was in production yet so wasn't sure. Either way I love the short cut. It's my favorite hairstyle. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

Not even Terrence Howard? C'mon, Halle's been "The Rich Man's Wife" for about 10 years strong, now...

Terrence Howard's wife is white and he can still be a leading man with a black woman in any movie. 2. Wesley Snipes fancies Asian women and he can still be a leading man with a black, white, & latina woman. I believe it all comes down to the casting director for wanting Halle to have a black leading man again or not.

I was saying the trend seemed to start with Monster's Ball might be the exception, but Diddy gets replaced by Billy Bob midway through the film. [Edited 5/31/09 18:42pm]

Yes, she do. If we want "US" to see each other in movies we are going to have to start making them and supporting them. Movies that portray use not as simpleton's but as multi dimensional human being I may add. Mutha you know how Holly-weird works one "Negro" star at a time, 2 tops.

Why does this always come up where Halle's concerned? Very True. I mean I been waiting for Spike short Lee to do A Black classic romance for a while now, and it's not happening. Both Denzel and Halle have the power yet no. They said something about it being chessy

They said something about it being chessy They've been wanting to do one for awhile before they both got too old but said it was a combination of schedule, script, etc. Spike might be one of the only ones to do it but studios aren't really interested. I know of two projects being stalled because they want the to change the black characters to white characters and the creators/writers refuse. Not only are there not a lot of good roles for women there are even fewer for black. Some of these roles were originally written for white actors and black actors auditioned anyway and got the part. If not for that, they'd work even less. [Edited 5/31/09 20:25pm] Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

Why is it so hard for there to be two leads falling in love like a Titanic or The Notebook. Tyler Perry also could do this instead of cooning and jiving. I can't think of a last Black romance Classic. Some will say Love and Basketball and i say ugh
