There was a rumor that this was one of the songs that was meant for Phyllis Hyman. It was supposed to be on the follow up to the "You know how to love me", album. "Love is like peeing in your pants, everyone sees it but only you feel its warmth"

Phyllis probably didn't wanna do it since she was angry with Mtume over "You Know How to Love Me", lol.

Phyllis probably didn't wanna do it since she was angry with Mtume over "You Know How to Love Me", lol. That's what I thought. But, it was written for Phyllis and she would have killed it!! "Love is like peeing in your pants, everyone sees it but only you feel its warmth"

I believe there was more to that voice of hers. "Love is like peeing in your pants, everyone sees it but only you feel its warmth"

Yeah I know, but this was the only YouTube video that featured the full song, some guys can't help but announce it. Here's the version on IMEEM: http://www.imeem.com/peop...-my-lovin/

Phyllis probably didn't wanna do it since she was angry with Mtume over "You Know How to Love Me", lol. Did you read the book 'Strength Of A Woman'? Man,Phyllis really jeopardized her career on several occasions."You Know How To Love Me" was a big hit for her in 1979,but she went to some jazz magazine for an interview and dissed the album! Producers James Mtume and Reggie Lucas were pissed, and vowed never to work with her again.Clive Davis offered them a large sum of money to produce a follow-up album, but they said "No".I guess Phyllis may have felt that "You Know How..." was beneath her but I think it's one of her best uptempo songs. It's interesting to think about the songs that Mtume/Lucas wrote and produced after that....songs that might have gone to Phyllis... "Never Knew Love Like This Before" by Stephanie Mills "Borderline" by Madonna (written by Reggie) "Sweet Sensation" by Stephanie Mills

That's a stretch.... "Love is like peeing in your pants, everyone sees it but only you feel its warmth"
