Sufjan Stevens :: You Are The Blood

omfg bow dead

i liked the original by the castagnettes but this one is on another level.

this makes me yearn even more for a new sufjan album. does anyone know if
one is on the horizon?

I've been seeing his name around the org for years, and yet this is the first time I've actually listened to his music! That song is incredible eek So very unique sounding. Is this a good example of the rest of his work?
If you will, so will I

well it is sort of an example of what he does although he usually does the
more acoustic side of this track. he write beautiful songs with incredible,
delicate melodies and good lyrics.

for the best introduction i would pick the "illinois" album. some of the
songs on that album are amongst my favorit songs ever by anyone, especially
"john wayne gacy, jr."

try to get your mits on that album and i asure you, you'll fall in love.

i think he must have let it go. he can't finish that project anyhow.

perhaps he could do a 3 disc album with a song for each state. that
would seem a more realistic goal.

plus i don't think he should restrict his talent to any theme like
that but just let his inspiration take him to whatever project comes
to him.
