Plaid & Bjork :: Lillith a great colaboration with bjork on vocals. i played this to death when the plaid album was first released, about a decade ago now, i think. recently a good friend of mine played it in his car and i fell in love with it all over again. i love that sinister synthline that runs through it. good stuff and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

Yeah, it's really cool. She was so masterful at collaborations at this time. She still is, but she was really on fire during the Post/Homogenic days.

yeah, i know what you mean. she's gone a bit too far in the experimental stuff. well, i don't know if you can go too far but she went into a route i can't follow completely. i love everything she did up to medulla. it started to become a bit weird at that time. some insanely good tracks and some so weird that you can't make out if they're brilliant or just shit. drawing restraint #9 is more of the same, yet even more condensed. i love "ambergris march" and "gratitude" but the rest is just over my head type of stuff. 9 minutes of breathing is a bit too much for me. liked "volta" on first listen, and loved the whole concept. it just didn't manage to keep my attention as thoroughly and as long as post, homogenic and vespertine. it lacked another 2 or 3 really memorable songs imo. i kind of wonder what she is going to release next. didn't care too much for the latest colab with thom yorke either. but one thing is apparant from that one, her voice sounds better than it ever has. amazing. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps
