anyone else been playing Modern Guilt lately?

I gave it a year rest.. now i'm back jivin to it!

me too. i had a lot of albums on the backburner for a while.

spent a month or two with radiohead's "in rainbows" being my
main music and since a few weeks i've been listening to that
'new' beck album constantly.

i like all the songs on it, it's short and sweet. especially
"walls".
and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

I'd go with either Sea Change or The Information.

Sea Change is practically a masterpiece, and The Information is just a damn fun, energetic, and well-executed set of songs.
I've seen the future, and boy it's rough...

I think Modern Guilt contains some of his best lyrics since Sea Change.. Not to compare them lyrically, but he brought quality to his lyrics.

cool, raspberries razz. beck is the shit nod. was bumping some of his stuff earlier music. i think he's awesome, but i can never get into morose sounding shit like sea change, mutations. i tried twice and couldn't even sit through all of modern guilt bored2 boxed. i don't mind that kinda music at all or him doing it for that matter, but whole albums of that same shit = zzz to me, sorry smile. LOVE odelay, midnite vultures, the information and guero though headbang. surprised not alot of love for his major debut mellow gold. was listening to that earlier and every song on that is killer, imo, unlike some of the other cds, but yeah, he's one of my faves also thumbs up!
life's a bitch, but god forbid the bitch divorce me...
