Everyone’s favorite American Idol runner-up may come out on the cover of next week’s Rolling Stone. When asked about his sexuality in the past, Adam has only said, “keep speculating.” A source reveals that the gifted and gorgeous crooner “didn’t want it to be an issue during the contest, but he’s fine with his sexuality.” Could this mean we can expect an official statement within the pages of the iconic music rag?

The insider’s claim is backed up by Idol judge Kara DioGuardi, who tells the ladies of The View today, “I don’t think that Adam was ever in [the closet]. I think he was always openly out.”

During the competition, Lambert told People magazine, “You should own who you are and what you’re about, and never make apologies for it.” Amen, Lambert. We love the guy no matter who he bones, and we suspect his fans do too.

HE WAS NEVER IN THE CLOSET! HE'S BEEN OUT.

Gay people don't have to announce they're gay to the str8 world to be considered OUT. Do str8 people announce it? Of course not. He's lived his life as an out, gay man. Just because America was wondering about it doesn't mean he's hiding anything. I'm sure there'll be Americans who will say, "I TOLD you so!"

But the rest of us with a brain already knew. Kara DioGuardi was on The View today and said she never knew Adam to be "in". She always knew he was gay, and he's lived as such.

It is SO obvious that he's gay or at the very least bisexual..

Its such a shame that this is even an issue. The man is talented and that should be the most important. He may or may not be gay, I think he is, but if he is or isn't, who cares? The man can sing his ass off and he rocks. I hope he has a long career ahead of him. I'm rooting for him.
