Natalie Merchant
Shawn Colvin
Sarah MacLacghlin
Fiona Apple
Ani DeFranco

Its so funny that during the 90s there was so much hype and exposure of these people and now u just dont hear anything from them!!!

I guess there's only a number of artists who have the luck to get good media-exposure through an amount of years. It might have a lot to do with temporarily record-deals or that a label drops them after some releases didn't sell the expected numbers. Or simply that some artists choose to have their own independent distribution and therefor are less in the the limelight of the commercial media.
