Yesterday Chris Brown took it to the 'Net to declare he "ain't a monster" and female MC Eve, like many celebrities before her, wasn't having any of that.
The rapper is none too happy about how the media has "protected" the disgraced singer and not addressed his fault in the pre-Grammy assault on ex-girlfriend, Rihanna and took to Twitter to unleash her verbal fury. Here's what she said in her six-part rant: "Hold on hold on!! I'm just gonna reach out to some of y'all out there and say this bluntly, why do ppl keep tryin to protect Chris Brown's ass hes guilty until proven innocent, and no man should ever raise a hand to a woman, I'm so sick of people kissin his ass..yeh i did just watch a clip of him saying 'he isnt a monster'...yeh motherf***r u are. let him or any other man come to me with power fists..id f**k him up" "And a message to rihanna...girl your beautiful and talented and u don't need a n**** like that around u...ur special and deserve better & finally,no we dont no wat happened that night, all i no, is seein rihanna's beautiful face bruised and upset..that's enuff 4 me." This is some black people shit. Yes I said it!!! If this had been Brad Pitt and Angelina Joile then Brad would be done for and over! If this had been Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag, Spencer would be locked up immediately and awaiting trial. But because this is a black couple, Chris Brown get's all the sympathy. Did he even spend one night in jail? Don't think so. Even if they had been non-famous, they both would have been locked up for the fighting even though he was the aggressor. Black women as the victims of domestic violence are never taken seriously IMO. I also think many black people care more about keeping black men out of jail than they do keeping black women safe and out of harm's way. This is how it looks to me when especially when you factor in the statistics of black women being killed. I think if they had been alone, like no cars, witnesses, not in public view; he would have killed her.

I think African American culture as a whole always have a fault for standing up for their own, even if its wrong...from Oj to Kelly to Chris and everyone b4 and inbetween. I think its because black people have been so wrongly judged and used over the years that they been desensetized to when somebody of celebrity status is CLEARLY in the wrong.

he just punched his girlfriend in the face, bit her, tried to push and kick her out a car, put her in a headlock, and punched her some more. No, not a monster at all.
