Help with R&B song... There is a mid-tempo song by a male... vocals sound like Raphael Saadiq or Stokley from Mint Condition. Something about love or I love her. NOT the I Love Her song from Raphael’s latest.
It’s slightly repetitive but has a great summer feel-good sound to it. I’ve searched through Raphael’s music but can’t find it unless it's from a soundtrack. There's no female vocalist so I don't think it's Lucy Pearl but never heard their second album. Possibly someone else singing but don't know who. Oh and does not sound like the R&B stuff on radio. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off | |

It's from the last five years I think. Possibly seven. It didn't sound old. Maybe slightly neo-soulish for lack of a better term. There was a guitar presence. No particular producer signature. No problem. I might have to track this cd down. I really like the snippits. Well what's even more embarassing is I have it at home.  I just don't know where it is. But I will recommend it. It's pretty good. I Want You Back, Rifle Love, Save Us, I Know Shuggie Otis, Chic are stand outs. Teedra Moses is the female vocalist on this one. Wonder what she's up to...Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off | |
