Strong records out/coming...Dave Matthews,a-Ha,Wilco,Simple Minds and someone that NO ONE mentions...

Props to these June releases, some of which you may have to search and pay more for due to availabitity in this country.

The Dave Matthews Band: first studio record since losing band member, Rob Cavallo is brought in on this record, and has brought in electric guitars to a DMB record, this is their strongest album in, well, their career, top notch songwriting and content, and the band is in top playing form

a-Ha release their 10th album June 19th, in select markets, the 10song opus is their first album since late 2005's "analogue" on board this time are longtime producers from New ORder,Depeche and u2.

Simple Minds return to TOP form on their new record, strong 80's feel, political statements and great playing.

Wilco, once again one of the MOST underappreciated bands in history at their best.

Mandy Moore, i think i have seen ONE person give this girl props, and her new cd, deserves to be held up as something all the "pop" girls need to aspire to. Mandy was always the misfit of the bunch, but she is also the most talented of the lot easily!

so there U go, Happy May/June, stop worrying about DWINDLING sales, shit the music is good still

Anxiety

the new sonic youth album comes out in june. i pre-ordered it, so i've been able to listen to it in advance - it's yummy stuff. think "goo" without the obvious camp value (which i loved, but they don't need it).

can't imagine Sonic Youth being that great honestly but your comments make me think otherwise

have not been into them or excited about them for a long while

no interest in Dave Matthews although his band kicks ass live

Wilco? i just do not get the hype

Simple Minds? yeah.....maybe 20 years ago

I'm actually really liking the Simple Minds album. First one of theirs I have bought since Real Life, which was, what, 1991?...

That's....wowzer, 18 years ago!
