I knew both of them, when they attended Brooklyn College Academy. This was an alternative H.S. that was situated within Brooklyn College, which I attended. They were both good friends and were very smart girls. They both however, never liked going to class and I would see both of them hanging out on top of the Quad,(an outdoor entrance to one of the buildings) rapping along with their male counterparts. If I had to pick which one was better, I would give it to Kim. She had the rawness, the grit. Foxxy had the a certain flow to her style but when she rapped, you had a hard time believing what she rapped about....I don't know how to explain it....There was just something missing in Foxxy's style. "Love is like peeing in your pants, everyone sees it but only you feel its warmth"

Ill Na Na was the shiz. Jay-Z reminded me a lot of Prince by ghosting songs for a female.

Ill Na Na was the shiz. Jay-Z reminded me a lot of Prince by ghosting songs for a female. Yeah he was writing a lot of shit in the background but hell BIG was doing the same thing around that time for Kim, lol.

But Foxy's was way better IMO. I skip most of the songs on Kim's album but Foxy's is good all the way thru to me.

for old times sake, I played a lot of foxy and jay z from the late 90's, I had forgotten just how much I loved Jigga back in the late 90's, now I just laugh at his bum face next to Beyonce, though I also liked stuff off Blueprint and the work he did with Linkin Park and Fall Out Boy.

http://www.youtube.com/wa...XGIumqjWMU I love this album too, brings back memories for me also. Didn't really listened to Ms. Blige until "Share My World" album was released.

Man i used to love this song but was somewhat disappointed with 'share my world' after the excellent 'what's the 411?" and "my life"
I was huge fans of Kim's and Foxy's debuts but would say 'il na na' was the slightly better record.

This might be my favorite Mary song. This brings back memories for me too. It was one of the last songs I heard before going to Boot Camp for the Marines. They had it on MTV at the place where I was being sworn in and this video came on and I loved it from the start. It stayed in my head the whole 3 months I was in Boot Camp. I still love it to this day. The groove is crazy, Mary's voice was kickass and Lil Kim's flow was the bomb. A great song that I never get tired of. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

Timmy84 said: Yeah I remember me and my nephew Juan jamming to this. Both of us would always repeat that line Lil' Kim rapped when she said "who you lovin', who you wanna be huggin', dippin' on your Ninja Honda with Tanisha and Rhonda, WHAT!" Of course we had a hard time understanding what the fuck she was saying at the time.
(in a good way) What are are we gonna do wit you? Please, tell me!
