Bootsy's Rubber Band - Strecthin' Out LP and Leslyn Bailey I was Listening to this LP and remembering, how cool the background vocals are on this LP and thought about Leslyn Bailey, the only female vocalist in the group @ that time, or ever.
She enhanced the vocals of 'Bone, P-Nut and Bootsy on this LP, as I was listening to 'Physical Love' and how 'Bone's and Les's vocals compliment each others, or how on 'Vanish In Our Sleep' her vocals shadows Bootsy's. It's a shame she couldn't hang with the Rubber Band, she wasn't a big void for the Rubber Band background vocals, because as we know, 'Bone and P-Nut kept strecthin' on without her. She wrote and had lead vocal duty's on 'Love Vibe' which isn't bad @ all. It fits right in with some of Parlet, or The Brides of Funkenstein songs. Who knows, maybe she could have been a part of the She-Funk thang. Nevertheless she was a nice enhancement to the background vocals on this LP. Psychoticbumpschool "And I'm Les" ~ Leslyn Bailey

Boots stated one time that he didn't know how to handle a chick being on tour, so it was a relief for him, when she left.
Her voice reminds me of Minnie's Never care for Love Vibes Always thought it would've made a good b-side Should've kept it off the album and left more room for I Rather Be With You to stretch.. Just my thang
