Green Day's not really my style, but good for them for sticking up for their music. clapping

Yup. It's bout time someone took a stand and told the people at Wally's World - don't pass Go, don't collection 2 hundred dollars, and go straight to hell!

nod

More performers should develop some gonads and do that, and not just to Wal-Mart either. But to corporations in charge of standard radio and to record execs with their heads so far up their asses they wouldn't know real talent if it raped their eardrums.

kinda funny that Green Day is huge in Japan as well

they make a killing here on t-shirts alone

they were at the MTV Video Music Awards Japan show yesterday and here is a clip of their performance

http://www.youtube.com/wa...MQGOzLnHpw

if you notice, it was dubbed wrong.....the entire show

even the repeat, which is on now, was dubbed wrong

go figure.....it's Japan

but here is a clip of a show i went to 15 years ago and a classic mud fight with the audience

Alot of the artists want the sales, so they succumb to the pressure and $$$ and release a edit version. Green Day probably could have sold an extra 100/200 thousand albums that week. But i'm glad they stood their ground!

It's a great album by the way. First album in a long time that i can listen to the entire album and enjoy it (no Filler).

Never seen them live, hope to catch them here in DC when they come. And their tickets are only $50 (all seats). None of this $40-$150 price ranges.

That Green day mud fight video is just crazy!
