I don't think she's copying or recycling herself I think that's the style she's chosen for this "Fierce" era : low key, black and white, with minimal plot, camera movements or activity besides dancing. Same goes with the album art. She probably thinks it's helping to focus more on her as an artist and less on theatrics or dazzling people.
Halo is the only exception to all this and ironically her best video of this era.

I didn't like the song when I first heard it, and it kept me from buying the deluxe edition. I finally saw the video and it's not as bad as everyone says and she looks really hot, but it just got corny when she sang about how she could sing over piano without a beat. She's no doubt talented, but too predictable now, that I wouldn't mind if she retired and had a kid after this tour is complete.

Halo is the only exception to all this and ironically her best video of this era. That's part of what's wrong with most of the decisions her camp is making. Its all style over substance. Its all "Sasha Fierce era" and this look and that look instead of creating MUSIC that people will want to hear 20 years from now. I like Beyoncé but she is creating a path that will sink her own ship eventually.

Does anyone else think it's idiotic how she sang about singing without a beat over a piano and yet there are snaps with the piano, and her scratchy voice always cracking, unable to hit high notes?
