Those dancers were amazing during that. That is no small feat to do all that jumping around. I think gravity didn't exist during that. Those boys were shredded muscle, and nothing else.

an

Yeah. Simple set design + great song + hot dancers = woot!
I thought most of that show was pretty great, and at least she had the balls to play most of her new songs. I gotta say I was surprised after how long she's been around that she couldn't show just a little more warmth to the audience, rather than flipping the bird or basically shouting at them.

Madonna is a like one stand wham bam i;m going to fuck the life out of you and no thank you type of performance.

If you wanna be made love to you go to Kylie.
You CANNOT use the name of God, or religion, to justify acts of violence, to hurt, to hate, to discriminate- Madonna

After not being overly impressed with either The Drowned World Tour or the ReInvention Tour, I've gotta say that Confessions really impressed me again, and made me appreciate the Madge live experience. Of course, Sticky and Sweet didn't live up to the hype... Anyway, I think Confessions was her best overall show since The Girlie Show.

This is how I would rank the last four tours....

Confessions Tour
Re-Invention Tour
Sticky And Sweet
Drowned World

I like each show, but I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the Confessions Tour.I think many of the songs on that album ("Jump","Sorry","Isaac") worked extremely well in a live setting and even her old songs ("Like A Virgin","Music") were given a cool makeover/re-invention.

I don't find this particular performance exciting. I think Madonna is too robotic.
the CT is her second best tour this decade, I think.

I thought Like A Virgin was the defining moment of that tour as well as Get Together.

Sorry, one of her most pointless performances ever. It's basically a live interlude where Madonna forgets to exit the stage and she walks around. This song deserved so much more!

Totally agree.

This is one of her coolest songs ever, yet it was messed up totally. The video--- shit.
The chart performance.... shit.
Live performance...shit

ISAAC?

is that ironic?

I still hate this song. Even History would have been better.

^lol, I do like "Isaac" on record, but in the show it kills the flow. It just drags on, compared to the 2 songs before and after it. These 2 performances we've just discussed are actually my least favourites in the CT, rest of the show I love to bits, well ok, not "Erotica" because I dislike that type of choreography but I do love listening to it.

unfortunately have to agree - and it's one of her 3 best tracks of the 00s

(other 2 being Impressive Instant and Get Together)

Yeah, I downloaded them all. Well done, very differently from the CT DVD, the backdrops are not cut in and no slow motions etc.
