Rasputin's Stash were a Chicago, IL based group, formed by Martin Dumas Jr.
In addition to the album you already posted, they also released an album called The Devil Made Me Do It, on Gemigo (subsidiary of Curtis Mayfield's Curtom Records)

I have both albums.
It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

I have to admit, it has been years since I've spun either of the albums, but as I recall Devil Made Me Do It is very good, and their eponymous album is not bad either.
I'll see if I can find some time to spin to the two albums to refresh my memory smile

Great group. They were put together by Michael Dumas, Jr. in Chicago as an eight piece group, even though they recorded in Miami, Fla. They were first signed to Cotillion Records and released their first, self titled album in 1971.
They gradually lost half of their members by the time they recorded their second album The Devil Made me do it for Gemigo, a subsidiary of Curtis Mayfield's Curtom Records. Reduced to a quartet, the group consisted of Dumas, Ernest Frank Donaldson, Bruce Butler, and Paul Coleman when they released their second album in 1974. When Gemigo folded, the group signed to Curtom, where they released a couple of 45s - Dance With Me was released as r-Stash in 1977, and Booty March was released as Stash the year following. They even did a serious of shows in New York and Chicago.
Their first album is straight ahead Funk, with a bit Rock influence. If you like Mandrill or The Counts, you'll love it. The second album is more on the soft side, and has the typical Curtom/Mayfield sound.

Mr. Cool from their first album:

Hit it and Pass it from their second album:
