Love this song! music The chorus is so haunting to me.It's a powerful song, one of Diana's best.I also love the movie;Critics were harsh but I think it's a cool film.

I loved the scene in the final minutes of the film where Diana acted as an old lady and Billy Dee almost couldn't recognize her until she stepped out. lol

Wasn't that movie like a romantic comedy-drama anyway? lol

I swore Diana made me laugh when she got into that diva schtick trying to run that fashion company in Italy. "Don't give me that non complisco shit!" or whatever it was. lol

I like the part where that queen pulls a gun on Billy Dee Williams and they start rolling around on the floor together. I never understood the purpose of that but the more I think of it, the only reason I can think of for him pulling that gun on him in the first place was to get him to roll around on the floor with him so he could feel that big ole dick pressed up against him. lol

Anyone have Themla Hustion (1974 i think) version of "Do You Know Where You're Going To" ?

Timmy, these was a DRAMA. wink

I like the song more than the movie, though I don't think it was as bad as the critics pannned it to be.

lol

That's how I feel about the movie, "Fatal Attraction". "I'm not going to be ignoooored Dan!" I think that movie was supposed to be a DRAMA/suspense.

Some people criticized the ending, saying that it was unfair the way she gave up her dream to support her man.I don't see it that way, though.

Like a reviewer who was interviewed for Diana's E! True Hollywood Story said, "no one wanted to see black love in the box office". They also felt Berry Gordy squandered Diana Ross' talent in the film.

And they lived toghether forever after in the ghetto....

I agree. The ending is CORNY and bullshit,,,,but then again, its a Diana Ross-flick, I don't think you'd want to watch it in the 1st place to get a grasp on reality lol

I love the movie though love

I'm winner, baby. ME! Mahogany!

And the costumes,,,,,OOOOOH my word drool I understand she contributed a lil', so the story might ring true after all.

They really should stop remaking classic movies because all they do is ruin them and destroy the original's memory.

People can say what they want about Ms. Ross, but she is a massive vocal talent. I always love how much emotion she puts into the vocals. Thanks for these.
