How come Stevie can't sing no more? He who was one of the great users of melisma in his vocals, now sounds like a parody of himself, just like Mariah. It's horrid. I can listen to old school Stevie all day long, but the recent live stuff just gives me a headache. Come back former Stevie wherever you are....

Disagree, but opinion is opinion. I've seen Stevie live in September and as one of 4 people heard his soundcheck where he went up and down the scale, he can SANG. Also his latest DVD Live At Last vocally he sounds all good. Horrid? hardly. The comparision with Mariah? Hardly. I dig the emotion with which he sung Nat King's song and this is from 2007, he improved more touring. Out. [Edited 5/22/09 11:32am]

I'll have to agree, this really isn't a good vocal, and I love me some Stevie Wonder- he has sounded really awesome in some performances recently and then there are these performances... At this point in history, we have a choice to make

Its going all right, doing my artwork, trying to get that started. As for this Stevie vocal.. I mean, its not bad bad.. its just I guess age is catching up to him. It seems like the type of song that would involve a delicate vocal which Stevie can't pull off with ease as much, though he can still belt out Signed Sealed Delivered as strong as ever. also, i think like you mentioned the tour really whipped his voice back in shape. hearing him sing Lately at Madison Square Garden was amazing. At this point in history, we have a choice to make

Alright man good stuff. I'm saying yeah the tour got his vocals back strong. I loved the show I attended. What's your feelings on the latest DVD?

People have to understand Stevie is now approaching his sixties. Of course he's not gonna sound the same as he did thirty years ago, lol. Patti LaBelle can only sing as loud but now has to add the falsetto because she can't sing it like she used to. It's a part of life. I'm sure Stevie's adjusting to it.

The boots I have heard, he has sung better than that particular concert, and I'm mad there was no harmonica solo on 'As If You Read My Mind". I think mostly it seemed like Stevie was aware that this was going to be filmed for commercial use, and I like when he gets a bit unpredictable in his concerts. Besides WHERE IS Ribbon In The Sky??? Lol. But I'm really nickpicking, it was a good concert. At this point in history, we have a choice to make
