I am glad she is doing something positive now. I've heard many a "Pebbles was a Ho" tales. Wasn't she just coming off some married man's jock when she met LA Reid? I bet her Na Na have many a story to tell..she was HAWT. I would have been the first one trying to find Al b Sure Straight Jacket Funk Affair

She looks so innocent at times. I think she would be a great pole dance instructor for some reason. Tell us some of her pimped hooker day stories with her Mercedes Boy remixed playing in the background. Her career would blow back up MAJOR then. Freaky Tales by Pebbles... I'd buy it too! I am not sure what's wrong, but it's probably your fault!

Go google some recent pics of how she looks now. Pebbles still look good. The message you are about to hear are not meant for transmission. Should ONLY be accessed in the privacy of your mind. She was ahead of her time. She was FFT long before cassie and rihanna. I just remember that Pebbles was the wife of Antonio "L.A." Reid at the time. Good point. But also, didn't Pebbles do an Yoko Ono in speeding up the break-up of The Deele so L.A./Babyface can move on as producers full-time?!? [Edited 5/22/09 19:13pm]

In her heyday i heard she was a real bitch to work with at times and she even sounded uptight doing interviews. When everything came out in the wash, it was no surprise. The only song i really dug by her was the love/hate joint andre cymone produced. Don't laugh at my funk
This funk is a serious joint

I love me some Pebbles! Loved her songs and she's still fine as all get out! She brought out the best in LaFace. "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

Pebbles also wrote the song "Red light special" for TLC, relating to her former days as a streetwalker. I don't believe she's ashamed of it either. I saw her recently on a gospel station hollering and shouting about how good god has been. Natalie Cole was on there with her. It was interesting to watch. I hope this girl is sincere and ain't rippin people off like she did TLC! I hope she truly has changed. The message you are about to hear are not meant for transmission. Pebbles didn't co-write "Red Light Special". If so, she went uncredited. That song was written by Babyface. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

Pebbles didn't co-write "Red Light Special". If so, she went uncredited. That song was written by Babyface. Awe come on now, I bet she influenced it in some way to be written. She was talking about her past life. That song is a hell of a coincidence. The music video was directed by Matthew Rolston and is set in a brothel. The male actors in the video are portrayed as prostitutes and Left-Eye is dressed as a pimp. A young Boris Kodjoe is featured as one of the male prostitutes. There are two music video versions of the song. One of the videos was considered to be a tad racy as in the unedited video, the guitarist pulls down Chilli's pants. Oh Pebbles was credited alright, TLC was the broke ones. I am not sure what's wrong, but it's probably your fault!

She didn't co-write "Feels So Much Better" (unless she went as a ghost writer). It is credited to Babyface. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

She didn't co-write "Feels So Much Better" (unless she went as a ghost writer). It is credited to Babyface. You're right! She co-produced it and sang backing vocals. At least she still has the "Whip Appeal" co-write... "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

I remember seeing Pebbles live back in the day. She SUCKED horribly. Her female bass player outsang her while holding down the bass lines at the same time.
She was cute but not talented as a vocalist nor a performer. She was a dead fish on stage.
