If you hear the instrumental good enough, it's actually an alternate version of the "A Blind Man Can See It" instrumental (without the famed chicken scratch guitar riffs and change in melody). cool

Always loved to hear James tagging along with Bobby on the track. nod

It's amazing how so many of James' songs intertwined with one another! Like the instrumental to "Same Beat" could actually be a song James was working called "Get on That Stuff" or whatever. lol

It seems that way for most of his late 1960s and 1970s recordings. Some of Hank Ballard's work with James featured music James already released.
