Pop has a few good cuts to me, but its U2 being so full of themselves for the wrong reasons, i dont mind them having egos, since they do, but do a solid record, this had alot of holes, i dont subscribe to the using of different sounds and things, always being a BOLD move. Dismantle was a safe record, but All that You Cant, was their best writing and most important record of the decade easily, its nice how they opened the decade and closed it with their best. POP reminds me of "hail to the theif" by RadioHead which i for the most part hate this album, well not hate, just really dislike alot, because their heads were too big for no reason on this one. To me its a misstep and it happens to all with careers and catalogs, a-Ha had one with "Memorial Beach" back in 1992, when they let DAVID Z (yeah the Prince dude) produce, bad move, bad producer always was.
