For a woman who is as near as damnit 70 years old, I don't think she looks bad in those photos, seeing as they are un-posed close-ups.

Most of these great photos you see of famous people are posed and carefully set up with the right lighting, make-up etc, chosen from tens of other, lesser photos from the same shoot and then given a little helping hand in the Photoshop department. Don't take it too seriously when a close-up shows a few wrinkles and a strange facial expression - I bet she looks fine in real life. Photos can be very unflattering.

If she's still alive and healthy, fortunately nothing.

She looks fabulous for her age. Especially in the last pic.The first press conference pic looks a bit weird but that´s only because she´s not posing there.

She's 70. She doesn't look nearly as bad as some 70 year olds. Black don't crack.

Just the combination of age, make-up and photos taken too up close and shoving her too much in detail. You know, old people don't usually look like they ware still in their teens when close-up photos are taken of them.

Tina had a pretty good face lift. It's not as obvious as most. So did Dihann Carroll her lift was flawless.

For some, facelifts go so wrong because they start getting them at the first sign of a wrinkle. Then get another at the next first sign and so on and so on until they look like Joan Rivers.

Or they try to erase all signs of wrinkles from their face and instead erase any character their face might have had to begin with.

A very good plastic surgeon and a bit of moderation and the results can be beautiful.

Tina Turner looks fantastic. I'm half her age and don't look as good.
