Ciara's album isn't bad...what ya'll talking about?

It sure not the best but it sure isnt the horrid tragic mess you guys said it was. Now BEYINCES album was the tragic dissapointment and I was expecting worse than that the way you guys put it...so as I was expecting the worst..I went on lastfm to listen to the whole album just to test.

Ciara To The Stage - 7 Cool intro. I can dance 2 this.
Love Sex Magic - 7 I like it..it's just ok.
High Price - 5 I wasnt really feeling that auto tune operatic vocal but Luda's rap was on point and the song kind of reminded me of O. I was sold on the line "My butt is looking softer than a McDonalds hamburger bun.." falloff
Turntables w/ Chris Brown - 8 Nice nice. Upbeat and somewhat experiemtnal in the ending.
Lover's Thing Sound like a Prince track..the Dream biting again..but its cool. - 6
Work - 61/2 Missy again... misproduces just like "The 1" by Janet, however..I can dance to this one anyway, and hell I can imagine all the girls at the gay club running to dance to this one. "YOU BETTA WORK!"
Tell Me What Your Name Is 6 Reminds me of "Baby Let Me Love U by Ready For The World..the keyboard in the background. This rips the line from Janet's "Whats Your Name"
I Dont Remember - then she go on and rip Britney's "Blur"...which was 10 times better produced.

Im On 6 - Cool. I can listen to this one... but Pussycat Dolls or Danity Kane anyone else could have done this

The rest..meh, but otherwise this album is not bad, and MUCH better than Beyonce's.

that isnt saying much though, Beyonces 2cd mess was nothing more than the same songs she has been singing for 10 years now. Why cant anyone in RB take a freaking chance anymore

It's not hard to make an album better than "I Am Sasha Fierce". I've been listening to Ciara's album this week and it's not good at all to me. Not tragic, but not good.

I take it as up to date with the sound not generic in my opinion. Yeah she could have done a little more by doing some cool electro trax like on the last album, however I was just listening to this album that was just destined for failure from what I read....and ts just not a GREAT album..but it isnt bad either. It woke me up more than Chrisette Michelles album..which i have been listening to also, but it's starting to drag into bland r&b territory..but there are some hot tracks on it..especially Blame it On Me

Did you guys see her on SNL doing James Brown and shit??

MAN IT WAS HOT! The synths and live drums they added to Love Sex magic just makes the song so much better

Yeah,it's crazy the way many of these "artists" just make the same album over and over.Beyonce's idea of re-invention is simply to come up with a new name/alter ego.Meanwhile, the music remains the same, predictable crap that she's been doing for 10 years.

In her defense I only think she should not have said it was going to be a 3 cd set. Then later she said she couldnt do it because she didnt do enough songs..however why not? The album was pushed back almost a year. I do think the album is not the most experiemtnal or eclectic, but I never expected that from her anyway. Her albums can go with Janet's past 3 in a one two punch.

I was thinking that if it weren't for the ripped off Time beats I would have turned this mess off. It looked like PCat-Dolls retread vocals set to watered down The Time beats. And Ciara should give Maddona her leotard and raggedy tights look back pronto.

It was reported not too long ago that McDonalds was offering rappers and other entertainers $$$$ to say "Big Mac" in their songs...

(MCHIP-HOP NAME-DROP Chain wants rappers to mention Big Mac:

Also, there was one vegan rapper at McDonald's 50th Anniversary Celebration of The Big Mac.

These entertainers are all about the $$$$..

The Synths were too heavy, and out-of-place for the original song.

Her last album was really good. It just wasn't promoted properly. Not to mention the horrible singles they picked.

I like Fantasy Ride ok, but it's just pretty generic like others have said.

LMAO!

I know this is gonna be cold but I was reading the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly and in the last page - where they put their "Bulls-Eye" page, they had Ciara in there with this statement:

"Ciara, it takes more than a Rhythm Nation ponytail and a duet with Justin Timberlake to make you Janet Jackson. You also have to be able to sing."

OUCH! falloff
