How in the world is Chris in the finals?

Yeah, Kris is not that good. I guess his fan base is bigger than I expected. I think a lot of it has to do with the fact he is kind of country and kind of pop.

I was talking about this with a friend of mine on Facebook last night. He was so pissed that Danny got kicked off until he says he's through with the show. He pointed out that they allowed Adam to have bigger productions and didn't allow people like Danny and Allison to do anything but stand there and sing. I never really paid attention to it until he pointed it out.

Was it Kris that did Remember The Time during MJ week? if so I like him. I thought it would come down to Adam and him. clearly Adam will win. Is it just me or did he have the longest homecoming video?

Chris stayed because hes cute-teen girls although the man is married ...and for the interesting twist on HEARTLESS.... yes Danny is the better vocalist this is not what the average AI watcher pays attention to unfortunately.


I think it's safe to say ADAM will take it .....finally Freddie Mercury can pass the crown over from heaven to Adam there's a new ROCK-QUEEN in town

I think Adam is the best male finalist ever. The guy can sing! He also has fantastic stage presence.

The only thing for me is, i like the younger kids to win, I would have liked a 17 yr old like Alison to take it.

Adam is 27, that is the exact age most pop stars reach their peak and start going over it only to crash land.

Prince MJ and Madonna were already huge stars going on hasbeen at 27 (i kid)

But overall i like Adam.

It's not that Kris isn't good. It's just that Danny and Adam are a bit stronger. It was a great final 2, but I disagree w/ the final 2.

But in some regards, I'm glad Danny didn't win (although I love him). He won't have that stereotypical, manufactured, dry, flat sounding typical Idol album. He'll have the Daughtry blessing of being great, booted early enough to have a REAL album. (Remember, Daughtry had the biggest selling album the year it was released, plus it was just a great CD.) They rush these kids so quickly into an album, ,that most of the debut albums are just horrible. It's the ones who didn't win that have the great albums.

And for the record, Tamyra Gray's album is still one of the best, and totally underrated and forgotten, albums from any idol contestant.

Yeah I think Adam is great too. Definitely my favorite AI contestant ever. He has a great voice and is an engaging performer. I don't think AI has ever had anyone like him.

About Kris though, I don't get how Kris made it in over Danny either. Yes, I thought his rendition of "Heartless" was great but he hasn't had too many great moments on the show overall. Not consistent at all. Kris is definitely not the best vocalist on the show and is quite boring overall. For me, him and his style are a dime a dozen. Danny was a much better vocalist and should have made it into the final 2. Unfortunately, you have a lot of little tween and teen girls voting which is why Kris is there. They think he's cute, which shouldn't matter b/c I thought it was supposed to be a singing competiton? But it's a popularity contest too and Kris is very popular among young girls.

I don't get the love for Adam, though. Sure, he can sing, but is it fair for them to give him more production than the other contestants? No.

Adam and Danny were neck and neck I thought. I don't get the Chris thing. There is NOTHING unique about the guy.

Adam is off the chain with that scream of his, gay or otherwise.

I totally think the show is rigged. I think it has been since the beginning. The judges know how to persuade "America" to vote.

Adam is the only one with true potential as an artist.

Danny is a nice vocalist but naw, he would sell Taylor Hicks numbers and Chris would do the same or even worse, Blake Lewis? maybe. ha!

Idol's been lucky to have a few major stars come thru, Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood and Chris Daughtery. I think Adam has that same potential more than anyone else.

Adam, Danny, and Kris all have great potential as artists. Adam is more developed because he's performed in shows, in drag, in clubs, etc before now. Danny was more in church doing things I would bet, and I am not sure what Kris has done. But some of Kris' arrangements were very original and great, to me.

Sorry, should have said Justin Guarini then. I never heard Blake's CD, just know it didn't sell well. The only Idol CDs I have are Kelly's first 2 and Daughtry's.

Daughtry's was great. I love Carrie Underwood because she's my Oklahomegirl. I'm glad Kelly is doing well, but I don't really get into her.

Sidenote about Blake's album. He covers a lot of styles on it. Producer BT worked with him closely on it. But listen to "She's Makin' Me Lose It", you might just hear a certain purple B-side sample tucked in there. He's said the song is his homage to Prince anyway, so the sample is even more appropriate.

The best to ever come off this show, and not "success" wise, talent wise, voice wise, is Katharine Mcphee, the fact she lost to Jay Leno's look alike who was nothing more than a pathetic attempt at Michael Bubble. I watched this show for a few weeks and knew that Adam would win, hes overblown, its like Sam Harris all over again on Star Search, which is cool, but its a "NICHE" and Adam will be gone quickly because he is very gimmicky. Danny clearly was the best singer, and hopefully does music, good music, not some timbaland produced shit as an album

Her album was decent, but they tried to make her a Celine Dion-type and it didn't work.

Shes signed on David Fosters label now, and its doing some work with Boccelli and going that route, she has gotten alot of praise from the older vocalists. By her ballad "Ordinary World" on her album is the type of song that Mariah "used" too be able to master, when she was able.

(As a side note, I would swear Danny Gokey was the gay one. They show some clips of him on TMZ with another guy you would say was his BF. How'd the wife die anyway?)

I think Adam'z the best singer that the show ever had,and I vote 4 him weekly.
