I prefer this CD to it's sequel, "Shaman". I did not like that one at all... I like several songs on 'Shaman' but I quickly grew tired of hearing guest stars on Santana's albums.'Supernatural' is extraordinary but I don't know if repeating that formula was a good idea.

I agree! And Michelle Branch just irritated me by then... "Love Hurts. Your lies, they cut me. Now your words don't mean a thing. "The Game Of Love" is a good song, but yeah,I was annoyed by Michelle Branch's vocals. The song was originally recorded with Tina Turner, but Clive Davis felt that Michelle was more suitable, because of her younger age He felt that the song would be a bigger hit with Michelle. Here's the original version with Tina, which Carlos has admitted that he prefers...

I think there was also issues concerning Tina's record company. They did not want it released. I love Tina's version too. Wow, I've never heard that version of The Game Of Love! I like Michelle's version, but Tina's is pretty awesome! The guy who wrote that song was the guy from that band the New Radicals.
On the real though, Carlos plays like shit on the singles from these albums. He's got a great tone but he overplays so much, as if he's trying to remind everyone that it's HIS album.

I didn't know this but now that you mention it, it does remind me of some of their songs. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off
